Sad to learn via SallyB McGlone that last surviving female ATA pilot Eleanor Wadsworth has died aged 103. She joined up in 1943, flew 22 types inc Spitfire & Hurricane. Commenting on her long life she said, "It's just luck! I try not to worry about things I have no control over".

Thanks to Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity lending theimaging dept a thermal camera to celebrate #IDOR22 #worldradiographyday2022. Turns out; ultrasound phantoms are cold, my hand is toasty, @kate_ive's art is beautiful beyond the visible spectrum and (despite what I get told) ultrasound gel is WARM!

Our P3 clans took part in an art workshop today with an artist. The pupils had to design new artwork to be located at the Calderwood Cafe. The pupils used clay to make a sculpture that represents our community 🖼 🎨 #creativecalderwood
