Choosing to not care about politics is a privilege. Choosing not to care about the most marginalised groups in society is ignorance. It means that it does not affect your life enough to make you care. To marginalised people, politics is a matter of life and death.

Being disabled costs an average of over £1000 extra per month. That means for many it is significantly higher. The *most* someone can get from PIP is £750 per month. The math ain’t mathing… If you’re jealous of people having less money than is required to live, you need help.

Just so everyone is clear what happened here; Waitrose, a company that makes many millions in profits, was happy to let this young man work in their stores for several years without being paid. The moment that he asks to be paid for his time, they refuse to let him come back.

Not sure why people can’t comprehend how student loan/debt should be treated as a scandal. Most of us were TOLD at school…. When we were CHILDREN, you’ll get a loan which will have minimal impact on you, don’t worry about it too much, just apply on UCAS and hope for the best.
