Insight 2: “…every biological phenomenon is essentially an historical one, one unique situation in the infinite total complex of life.” – no wonder that results in bio-papers frequently show wide spread, even contrarian results, with questionable reproducibility.

Would be nice if sport’s commentators stop using the word ‘academic’ to describe unimportant and inconsequential efforts, as in: “They scored a goal in the last minutes of the game but that was only academic”.

A new MSc course in Biomedical Engineering at UWL, start Sep 22. Mostly about introducing fundamental concepts on Biosignals, Healthcare Technologies (mostly around digital health) and some Maths&Stats (@thomas_b_madsen) to understand what it all means. Course leader Konstantin Nikolic
