Yes yes! We all need PC training. I finished paramedic training in 09, RN in 15, and palliative care training in 20. Ive impacted more lives in the 2 years of #PalliativeCare work vs all the rest together.

2 answers: #PalliativeCare should sit in every single professional who works with people w/ serious illness. We all need these skills. The speciality service should stand alone in institutions.

In EMS every call is in shitty situation. Cardiac arrest in grocery store deli, respiratory arrest on a bridge, hypoglycemia in camper, trauma arrest in a hayfield, semi truck on a chest in a garage. I could go on. A hallway sounds nice to me!

#Police when you come to an #EMS scene your questions are not more important than our care for the injured pp. Don't open the ambulance doors. Do knock. Do ask permission.
