About 3.5% of U.S. students (3% in MI) bring a weapon to school. It's unclear whether backpack bans, clear backpacks, or similar strategies reduce carriage. Evaluation of the effect of these policies on both student behavior and psyches is needed. npr.org/2023/05/04/117…
