Hundreds of UK final year medical students have been told by their foundation schools that they could only get three weeks notice of what hospital and city they will start working in.....🧡

@Gastrografin1 @marklittle_IR Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust UHCW NHS Trust We've had an IR FY2 UHCW NHS Trust for 4yrs. Takes 1month to train them, then an amazing asset for 3months. I understand benefit of PA, as only need to be trained once. However about 30% of my FY2s have entered radiology training to become potential future IR Consultant colleagues!

Last night, I received an unexpected message sent by a man who downloaded my report "Women's Sex-Based Oppression in The 21st Century". With his permission, I'll reproduce it here: "Hi Andreia, I have two girls and a boy who were brought up with utmost respect and love..." 1/

Training logbook numbers by specialty relative to 2019. Millions fewer procedures performed with/by a trainee. Consultants - remember that you were all trainees once. Time to train the next generation! Every case is a training case. #NoTrainingTodayNoSurgeonsTomorrow
