13 yrs ago Obama announced DACA—a victory led by immigrant communities. Since 2012, DACA empowered thousands to thrive w/out fear. Yet, this anniversary is bittersweet as DACA faces legal threats. Remember: DACA was won through organizing & lasting change will come the same way!

In honor of Juneteenth, Juntos Community will be closed on June 19, 2025. Today, we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality—thanks to advocates like Opal Lee, who helped make Juneteenth a national holiday.
