Sad news of the passing of Jim Gibbinson at the age of 84 😪 . Spent time with Jim in the nineties as Nash consultants and he truly was a joy to be with. Anglings definitely lost another great . He's sat next to Kev here when we were ' on tour ' in Bavaria 🎤 . NashTackleUK

After the tragic passing 😪 of syndicate leader Jim Wilson in the spring I left the water alone for over five months but after returning in late August and usually catching regularly finally the ' Little Lin ' tripped up on a Nashbait Sweet Tiger Nut. Thank You Jimbo x

Ha ha - reminds me of the good old ( bad old 🤷‍♂️ ) days 1986 - 2015 when most of my carp fishing was mid week twelve hour overnighters ( 6 pm to 6 am ) . Getting older sucks 👎 ... but having flexibility doesn't 😉 . So many fruitless periods missing the 7 - 11 am bite time.

I tend to use the shortest hooklengths I can get away with and despite it only being 5 " from shrink tube to tungsten kicker over the loop knot it was hooked 2 " back and needed the hook cutting in two so it could be removed safely. NashTackleUK

With a tweaked back 😪 putting my normal style of fishing out of the question a day with one rod and a hot water bottle belted against my back 🔥🔥 was the only solution. Baited half a dozen spots with liquidised everything and just at dusk bingo. NashTackleUK
