We supported a report by Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) that explores the way delivery of palliative & end of life care is currently set up in England, where there are gaps in how it is provided, & how NHS England can support ICBs in their palliative & end of life care work: ow.ly/hjwe50QhPXn

It initially really surprised me in this first year at Hospice UK that hospices do so much beyond their buildings. Less than 5% of deaths occur in hospices, but the number of people who benefit from their services is so much higher: Over 300,000 people in 2022. Not just IPU!
