We can't wait for the next generation of gynaecologists to give effective pain control for OP gynae procedures like IUD fitting and hysteroscopy. Here's a wonderful response from ObGyn student Agnieszka Steiner to Stephanie O'Donohue's BMJ article about agonising IUD fitting.

A command bunker on the Siegfried Line on the German/Luxembourg border today. Had a very interesting road trip visiting #WWII landmarks.

Gustav Klimt’s brilliance and originality as a draughtsman was only really recognised after his death because during his lifetime he hardly ever sold his drawings and never thought to exhibit them. This work is from around 1897.

Tripped on the way in the back door and walloped my left arm good and proper. Nice big lump on it. Hope it’s not a fracture. Good movement in fingers and hand. Aches a bit, though. 😕
