Doing what's best for our kids has always been what's best for our state. And today, we can afford to do more. I'll deliver on my promise to use part of our state's historic surplus to make a historic investment in our kids and our schools.

Mental and behavioral health is as much a health issue as it is an economic one—it affects our kids in the classroom, whether workers can join and stay in our workforce, and folks' ability to provide for their family. That's why I'm declaring 2023 the Year of Mental Health.

Today the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a 4-3 order reappointed Jim Troupis to a panel that advises judges on ethics. Troupis was Trump’s recount attorney in Wisconsin and helped assemble “alternate electors” for Trump after Biden won the state.
