Congressman Jim Clyburn voted “nay” on a resolution to honor Charlie Kirk last week. I’m eager to see legislation filed by South Carolina Freedom Caucus to redraw his congressional district this session. Voters in the 6th deserve a real voice, not someone who doesn’t value human life.

South Carolina shouldn’t fall behind other states when it comes to redrawing obviously rigged districts. Every district deserves a real voice in Congress, and I am hopeful the SC General Assembly will do the right thing by redrawing the rigged 6th.

There is, in fact, an appetite to fix the 6th Congressional district in the SC legislature. Despite the Majority Leader’s opinion, many of us in the legislature want a Republican to have a fighting chance against Clyburn. #FixtheSixth
