Under Roe, adolescents already faced paternalistic and medically unnecessary judicial system to access abortion care. Overlay additional post-Dobbs restrictions, and care is pushed even further out of reach for young people. We need abortion policies that protect EVERYONE

BREAKING: The Louisiana state House passed a bill to classify abortion pills as controlled substances, such as Xanax and Valium It's the 1st state to seek something like this and anti-abortion advocates say they want to see it replicated in other states notus.org/policy/abortio…

Unanimous passage of the Mass. Parentage Act in the House. The MPA would update Mass' outdated and underinclusive parentage statutes to ensure that all children and families are protected. Incredible news for children and families in MA. Massachusetts Parentage Act Coalition #MassParentage #MAPoli

And a misleading Washington Post headline on top of bad push alert! There are more than a dozen states with near total bans on abortion—and that includes abortion pills. The court didn’t rule on access, they ruled on standing to sue.

If the EMTALA case really is a DIG (dismissed as improvidently granted) that would likely be a *real* "3-3-3" type ruling. Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch = let women die. Sotomayor, Kagan, Jackson = no Roberts, Brett & Amy = Some women will die but others receive tiny American flags.

Make no mistake: As it stands, today's EMTALA preview is barely a win for abortion supporters. The Court refused to rule on the underlying issue: Must state abortion bans provide an exemption when a woman’s health is at risk, not only her life? msmagazine.com/2024/06/26/sup…

Adoption is not necessarily an alternative to abortion. Adoption is a parenting decision. Abortion is a pregnancy decision. They’re not the same.

That's a big fucking deal! The Republican vice presidential candidate is toying with end-runs around women's constitutional right to interstate travel!

I'll just say this. Back when we were shlepping to Hill offices to share our later abortion story and ask for support against viability bans, there was one single Senate office that had an actual reproductive rights lawyer on staff. And that Senator was Kamala Harris.

JUST IN: Republican and former governor of New Jersey, Christine Todd Whitman, has OFFICIALLY endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the White House. This is amazing. When Christine Todd Whitman, a Republican, endorses Kamala Harris, you know Trump’s approval ratings
