An officer-involved shooting is under investigation on Lewis St in Napier housing. An armed 21 yr old fugitive who was trying to get into his estranged girlfriend's apt fired at the first responding officer who returned the gunfire. The suspect was hit in the leg & buttocks.

Logan Garver, 23, was arrested last night for the 12/3 death of Austin David on I-40 E. Garver is alleged to have driven his GMC Sierra intoxicated into a guardrail, ejecting David from the passenger side. Garver is charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication among others.
