Next up: Mission Impossible 2 - it’s so bad that it’s good (but that may be the wine talking). This movie really goes out of its way to be overly sexist. The dialogue melts my brain 😱 And what a waste of Anthony Hopkin’s talents.

Aaah so behind. MI:3 was actually good. Has emotional depth, skipped the heist part, and used all its references. Only had one minor hiccup where the villain is suddenly racist just to give them motivation

MI:4 Ghost Protocol is probably my fav so far - it has weight and Simon Pegg is just amazing. The climbing and rappel scene is really cringy but I guess it would have been too good for an action movie

Just finished MI:5 Rouge Nation - first time watching and I’m glad it’s at home and not theater. It’s not bad but it’s not good either. The plot is held together by a series of double crosses and I realized there’s only so many crosses I can tolerate in one sitting
