Coming into the count a couple of hours ago, the SNP seemed quite upbeat and that they’d have a decent chance at holding Kilmarnock and Loudoun. The mood has very much changed.

I haven’t seen a single Reform activist this evening which could be indicative of their thoughts on how well they could do in Kilmarnock and Loudoun. They may be challenging the Tories for third but, such is the two-horse race here, it’s a very distant third.

Could the seat which sparked the SNP landslide of 2015, spark a Labour landslide in 2024? Declaration is imminent.
