PLEASE SHARE: This little chap was left on the British Airways BA813 from Copenhagen (CPH) to Heathrow (LHR) yesterday (2nd August). They spent the rest of the day helping our crew with their work, but somebody out there will be missing them, so we need to reunite them!

That’s my Qualifying Cross Country ticked off! A little jaunt up to Teesside before flying down to Humberside before returning to Oxford. 441NM over 5 hours and another box ticked towards the end goal. Beautiful day for it!

Progress test 1 passed and into IFR flying now! Did my first RNP approach into Gloucester yesterday and tackling all sorts of hold entries and wind corrections. The countdown to my Commerical Pilot License exam isn’t far away now! 20 hours until I’m in the twin engine DA42 😎👍🏼

I didn’t know as a team mate of Hamilton you had to have “ability to disappear into the void at a moment’s notice if he turns in on you” on your CV 🤔

Oxford Half Marathon ✅ I’ll never be a natural runner but I thoroughly enjoyed that! Severe ankle and IT band pain from half way but pushed on. That was the best pint I’ve ever had too… maybe influenced by the fact I’d just ran 13.1 miles! 😂🍻

Good. The amount of people who sit gormlessly in the middle and outside lanes are at an all time high in my opinion. Motorways not being covered in the standard driving test is probably part of the problem, but why do so many people lack common sense? Not overtaking? KEEP LEFT!

So apparently in Formula 3 you’re able to ram people off the track like a video game and only receive a 3 place grid penalty. What a complete farce. What are the stewards doing? “Unintended” is absolutely comical!

Anyone got any tips or recommendations for shin splints? Just went for a run and had to call it off due to indescribable pain in my lower anterior shin region. Google points towards shin splints. Absolute agony. Physio? Rest? Any help would be appreciated.
