One year anniversary of starting in OHPCI - can’t believe the time has gone that fast. Managed to move house and finish a Masters in that 12 months. What will the next 12 months hold…

After starting my NHS career as ward clerk on Rendcomb ward back in 2011 as a ‘temporary job’, I’m absolutely delighted to say that I was appointed as General Manager for OHPCI today. The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust journey continues! Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way💙

Thank you @qadar__zada and thank you Wye Valley NHS Trust for the continued collaboration between our Trusts to provide the best care we can for our patient groups. And finally thank you to the entire Haematology department for their constant hard work and dedication.

Have been working in the NHS my entire adult life and am constantly proud of what we achieve, despite often being up against it, on a daily basis for the benefit of our patients. Here’s to another 75 years🎂🎉

Facebook memories telling me it’s 10 years to the day that I left my job as a ward clerk in Oncology for a brief stint doing something else. 10 years later and I’m privileged to be working as GM for OHPCI and loving every second. A very full circle feeling today. What a journey.

Wondered if anyone was interested in applying to help us expand in Gloucestershire by joining a dynamic team of Acute Physicians with one of the most interesting medical takes in the region? Apply through NHS jobs. I am available if you have questions. NHS Gloucestershire Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
