This week's in-situ simulation training session Mater Hospital Trauma focused on simulated stab wounds with pre-hospital blood transfusion followed by emergency thoracotomy and CODE RED #OurTraumaTeam

The #Mater is working hard to reduce trolley numbers and waiting lists - it is our number one priority. The #Mater #Trauma Unit attendance numbers has risen from 54,000 patients five years ago to more than 80,000 patients in 2018.
