Absolutely gutted to find out that this has all been chopped down by a couple of the neighbours, amid claims of the bushes being too high, rats and rubbish being thrown in. Hopefully the rats and litterers will be respectful of the newly-razed land.

And here's the space in July 2012 and August 2014. I'm not sure that the local authority maintenance, under even stricter budgets now, will amount to much.

Incidentally, there used to be trees on the right too. The houses face south west, so I suspect as temperatures increase, the natural shade of those on the left will be appreciated by the homeowners there.
