We're losing wildlife. Frogs, butterflies, bumblebees, hedgehogs, moths, bats, insects, birds are all declining. But if more of us take positive actions for biodiversity in our gardens, communities, landscapes and towns, we can help nature bounce back. Who's in?

There is no excuse for abuse. Myths that poor mental health, drugs or alcohol cause #DomesticAbuse are an extremely dangerous narrative that undermine survivors experiences. Abuse is a choice made by solely by a perpetrator.

Absolutely gutted to find out that this has all been chopped down by a couple of the neighbours, amid claims of the bushes being too high, rats and rubbish being thrown in. Hopefully the rats and litterers will be respectful of the newly-razed land.

And here's the space in July 2012 and August 2014. I'm not sure that the local authority maintenance, under even stricter budgets now, will amount to much.

Incidentally, there used to be trees on the right too. The houses face south west, so I suspect as temperatures increase, the natural shade of those on the left will be appreciated by the homeowners there.

Some species of gray langurs have a special relationship with Spotted Deer They notify each other when predators approach In return, the langurs give the deer fruit from tall trees the deer can’t reach This type of relationship is called mutualism 📸hrishiwild

A truly remarkable achievement. 🖤💛 Last week Philip Le Marquand completed the incredible 385-mile walk from South London to Gateshead. After travelling for just under 5 weeks, Philip raised just over £1,500 for Oasis Community Housing. #hopenothomelessness #Slowways
