Just got back from Salem, Massachusetts today! I took the opportunity to disconnect from work and social media a little, just to be ME for awhile. Back at it from here on out!

Any #voiceactor peoples have the secret to staying on top of auditions when you get swamped with actual work for the day? If there is, I haven't found it 😓 Hate seeing all those auditions fly by when an important, rush project comes in, but alas.

You know what? If I'm ever at the point where I'm earning "fuck you" money, I'm getting my sinuses looked at. Absolutely over having multi-day sinus headaches when tryna get VO work done😮‍💨

If half the effort techbros put into replacing voice actors and other creatives (and trying to cosplay Her with GPT 4) was instead put towards robotics to take over jobs that literally kill people (and introducing UBI to shield those affected) the world would be a better place.

Have definitely found that going in just being a genuinely nice person opens up more doors than people give it credit for. Not that I'm going for a tit-for-tat sort of approach, but it's certainly one of the reasons I love spreading around a lil positivity where I can 😊

Some humble audition tips! Similar to a home studio sample, what CDs are often listening for in your audition is RANGE. If the sides have enough depth, showcase everything you could bring to the table: emotionally, texturally, and even volume wise. (Cont 1/9)

You have to be ready for anything with VA! 👀 I had a couple of jobs to do today, but suddenly I've got a new live-directed job pop up last minute for today Moral of the story: Get that self-directed work done sooner, rather than later so you have time for everything 😅
