Source, built & ran many of them myself for years, issues I raised in 2017 trying to use core remain open. So, sure, if you use one specific workflow, core is fine. Most don’t, including Joomla itself.

Well, whadda ya know... Getting Joomla 3.x working on PHP 8.3 is just a try/catch away (well, at least with K2) 😎 Legacy Joomla lovers rejoice!

By the way, we just released a minor update for K2 making it 100% PHP 8.3 compatible (most likely 8.4 comp. as well). For the record, we've been running major K2 production media sites for the past couple of months on a slightly patched J3 on PHP 8.3 without the slightest issue.

K2 v2.12 is now available to download. Mostly API changes, no new features. It paves however the way for integrating K2 with the Joomla User Actions Log - Changelog at: github.com/getk2/k2/blob/…
