If a burned out physician eats some superfoods and does yoga... She will then be a burned out physician who ate some superfoods and did yoga. Burnout is a not a deficit of superfoods and yoga.

[1/8] I don’t give medical advice on Twitter, but this thread different because it’s from my experience as a patient not as a doctor. I have recently found myself on long course of lovenox and am halfway through, and have tips you may find useful to pass on to your patients.

You’re attending a triathon when you encounter an athlete by his bike. He’s complaining of: 🥵feeling unwell 💥no leg power 🌬out of breath He’s been resting for 30 min and you count his respiratory rate to 40/min. He’s coughing. What do you do?

Cigna uses an automated system that allows “medical directors” (doctors employed by Cigna Healthcare) to deny a claim in 1.2 seconds without opening the patient’s file. Please read this, share it, and help us (metaphorically) burn these companies to the ground.

Do I have this right? - ABIM requires yearly fees from physicians who are already cert to “maintain certification” - no evidence that MOC helps pt care - ABIM will report you as “not certified” if you don’t pay - hospitals require certification Idk kinda sounds like extortion
