When you realise it isn’t about squad construction or winning, but simply about CONSUMPTION then it makes sense He’s the kid who just wants to unwrap presents on Christmas Day and then not play with the toy He’s Augustus Gloop

Interesting to see the price we get for him We basically bought him to fund Atleticos purchase of Conor Gallagher. An asset swap 12 months later we sell him and recoup some of that money

A loan with an option to buy feels almost inevitable and it would be a great deal for us Loan Tyrique George for a year whilst you kick the tyres on Garnacho Huge upside, zero downside

People moan about having 90,000 people ahead of them then post screenshots of multiple tabs open on multiple devices 2+2 guys

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Too few tickets Too much demand Ticket prices too low You can only change one of these right now, and the other needs addressing long term Or you can maintain the status quo

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Ridiculous timing from Isak Chelsea would’ve gone for him in May. Wages wouldn’t have been an issue Problem is we now have Pedro and Delap Liverpool probably the favourites. Would I be surprised if we got Isak though? No

I genuinely don't mean this from an antagonistic angle, but for those who were so adamantly Clearlake out and protesting last season - given absolutely nothing has changed in terms of approach/model, why has that energy not been consistently retained?

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Yeah we would’ve been in had this been May but now it’s hard with Pedro and Delap On a side note our model does allow for marquee players like this. Just bad timing on Isak’s part. Or good I think he’s seen the business Newcastle have done and had enough

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This new system at least shows people something of the scale of demand for tickets The stadium is too small. You can’t fix that.

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If I’m Arsenal I pull out of the Gyokeres deal immediately and go for Isak They’re on completely different levels of player and it makes Arsenal genuine contenders overnight This is a once in a generation move for them

Priority membership is pointless. It’s just replaced the old membership and made the lower tier redundant Either have 1 tier, or price the priority one at £500 + Other than that, the song remains the same. Too much demand for too few tickets priced too low

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The club shouldn’t have sold a £60 membership as having ‘priority access’ It’s basically like an album presale code or an Amex presale. It’s nothing particularly special If you want the actual answer to this, and you won’t like it, it’s that tickets are too cheap. Sorry

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If you want a proper priority access membership then it would need to cost about £500. Even then it would sell out There is no answer that keeps everyone happy because the only thing that keeps people happy is getting a ticket. And that’s physically impossible

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Oh and one more thing on tickets If people keep moaning, and that’s likely because they aren’t going to consistently get what they want, then the likely outcome is one thing A ballot system 🤷🏻

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Incredible work by the club Sign Felix so that Atletico can afford Conor Keep Felix for a year, possibly with a loan fee from Milan Sell Felix and get your money back They had a plan all along🤷🏻

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Heard the same stuff when we were selling Oscar to China for £60m At some point you have to put jealousy aside and say we’re consistently a club run by professionals that other professionals like doing business with Other clubs need to grow up and step up

Jon (@jonallenpt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

What blue tick twitter and the moaners will never understand Football is a business built around relationships. Chelsea act in a grown up, professional manner and people like doing business with us Conversely, United take 7 weeks to sign a player for the original price 🤷🏻
