One of the most important pieces of the Hangman Page character is that he would have been a top guy in any decade/era of wrestling, dating back to the 70s. His values, style, and characteristics translate and resonate across all audiences. He's one of the best out there. #AEW

Trish Stratus turns 50 this year. Mercy.

From a viewing experience perspective, the near-falls would have hit so much more (it was still a strong match) if they gave it a month’s build with Trish indicating she wanted one more title run.

Genuinely not used to this much wrestling on WWE shows anymore, and it is so refreshing. Ladies are bringing it.

Jeff Jarrett himself once told me he thought Hangman would have been a tremendous fit in Memphis.

This show is like the antithesis of how WWE has presented pretty much every PLE this year, structurally.

The most frustrating part about Evolution was that it showed that WWE has compromised a lot of its PLE structure on pretty much every major show this year. This one (presented in a much more traditional way) was so much more digestible and easy to watch.

I groaned when it happened because I thought it was going to lead to interference gaga, but it actually set up perfectly to let them make the match more physical and add a great moment to it. I really liked the main event a lot.
