Shane Bieber won’t make his start on Friday with Double-A Akron. He came out of his Tuesday bullpen with soreness. He met with Guardians doctors and will also consult with Dr. Meister as next steps are mapped out.

Just thinking about José Ramírez's greatness, as I often do: 3B with 1,500 hits, 250 HRs, 250 SBs, 6 Defensive WAR 1. José That's it. Only others at any position are Barry Bonds, A-Rod, Willie Mays, Ryne Sandberg, Mike Cameron and Robin Yount

Rob Bosco Jeff Passan Robert Murray Yo, Jeff, Rob, this trade's got me gutted, wicked bad. Raffy Devers, our guy rippin' homahs at Fenway, shipped to the Giants? For Jordan Hicks, who's got a 6.47 ERA, and Kyle Harrison, still green? Nah, this ain't it. Devers is a .272 bat, heart of the lineup, and now we’re stuck

Any kid under 12 years old has no business playing travel ball. Park league baseball needs to be brought back. I don’t know how these parents aren’t tired of traveling every weekend and draining their wallet. Take Johnny to the beach

Coach Van Horn gave me a hit & run against Baylor in 2002. I completely missed the sign and left our runner out to dry and he was thrown out. DVH was clearly pissed. In the dugout he glared and said, "I suggest you find someone to review the signs for you or you won't be on the

I really wish if you were banned by one of the four major sports (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL), you were banned in the others. This seems like common sense to me. Maybe I'm wrong?

There have only been 2 catchers (Carlton Fisk-1985, Ivan Rodriguez-1999) in MLB history who have hit 33+ HRs, 70+ RBI, and stole 9+ bases in a season. Cal Raleigh has done it before the All-Star break.

We're trusting an organization that has been so historically inept at every football decision for an entire generation that locating the team from downtown to the suburbs is the right move. History says this is going to go up in flames.

Since the Dolans purchased the team back in 2000, Cleveland is the 7th winningest team in MLB. Fans credit the FO or Tito or anyone but ownership, and I get that. But who hired the people who built the foundation for this success? Why do so many want to stay for so long?

Back in 2010, Sandy Koufax gave Clayton Kershaw tips on how to spin his curveball. Now, he's just 3 strikeouts shy of 3,000.

My main concern when the Guards traded Josh Naylor wasn't about replacing his production. It was about replacing his energy. He SEEEMED like the heart of the team in a lot of ways. Feels like we are lacking that now.

Our "media" nowadays blows. A few months after the Dbacks made the WS, the owner was lobbing threats about leaving unless they got a new stadium or huge renovations. Bob Nutting (PIT) and Dick Monfort are awful. Don't even mention Fisher (OAK). Those are bad owners.
