Huge congratulations to John Sharify and Joseph Huerta for winning a coveted The duPont-Columbia Awards tonight. This is highest honor one can receive for electronic/digital journalism. It's for their groundbreaking work "Bob's Choice," - about a man's journey to end his life, legally.

KING 5 News John Sharify This local news documentary about death with dignity followed Bob Fuller, a terminal cancer patient, who decided to legally end his life.

KING 5 News John Sharify Over the course of the documentary viewers get to know Bob’s humor and understand his choice. Describing the intimate process of reporting “Bob’s Choice,” John Sharify said, “We laughed more than we cried, and we cried a lot.”
