My new smart TV was delivered today (to replace my 17-year-old plasma that was fried by lightning). I turned it on, selected my language, it auto-detected my WiFi (neat!), and started downloading updates…. the 3rd update of which bricked my TV. Wish I could just buy a dumb TV.
