Wonderful celebrating Jonathan Bailey 70th birthday 🥳 this afternoon at (fittingly) the Hersham Youth Centre to which he is devoted. Jon gets a 😘 from Margaret H, also a dedicated volunteer & my distinguished predecessor as Hersham’s SCC Cllr. Great time.
Interesting morning down in Crawley at the Parliamentary Boundary Commission Hearing, urging them to keep Hersham ‘united’ in a single constituency. Their current proposal would divide us into 2 seats. Hopeful they will amend at the next stage Hersham Residents
Speaking this morning at the public hearing of the Boundary Commission for England arguing that #Cobham & #Downside should not be divided from #Oxshott & Stoke d’Abernon and moved into the proposed #Weybridge & #Chertsey constituency. John O'Reilly

The promised £1.5m this year for Hersham resurfacing is being delivered👍. Molesey and Profumo Rds, plus the Westcar Lane Rdbt, all restored to new. And next week it’s Esher Road & more in the pipeline. Surrey Highways Cllr Matt Furniss
