Between April 2020 to January 2021, we performed 100 oesophago-gastrectomies in Nottingham. Of these, 70 were done in the independent sector @BMIThePark, while Nottingham University Hospitals rightly concentrated on our sick #COVID cases. Cross sector #collaboration & #teamwork has been vital

When we reflect on COVID in the NHS, I hope we recognise what has been achieved during this very difficult year. It would be very easy to solely focus on what hasn't been done or what could have been better. There is learning from both success and failure.
