Alex Caruso was not gifted these credentials on his 30th birthday. Or when he won the 2020 title. Caruso honed this leadership, this reliability for a Finals team. On a trustworthy voice forged by collages, the D League and the art of learning teammates: oklahoman.com/story/sports/n…

This Dub-led lineup found the biggest lead of the game (33-23), and now leads 35-27 at this timeout. Balance of disruption from Wallace/Caruso/Dub, Wiggins holding his own, Hartenstein is — well, playing his heart out.

Thunder now a *35-9 run* since the 2:30 mark of the first quarter. OKC is rolling. Up 52-29, its biggest lead of the series.

And now a 10-0 run for Indy out of that last timeout. Nembhard really pressuring the ball, Indy blitzing SGA, and Pascal has split the help on his way to the rim a couple times.

Between a couple O boards and a Thunder turnover, Pacers ended the half with the last four shots. Only got a Nembhard FT out of it. Thunder up 59-41 at half, its biggest lead being 23, after a 2nd quarter from hell. Indy was 8/19 from 3 at half of G1. 7/22 tonight.

Aaron Wiggins played nine minutes in Game 1. In nine minutes tonight, he’s got 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting with three 3PM.

Strong close to the 3rd for OKC. A blocked jumper by Wallace, a steal from SGA. Haliburton just 2 for 7 with five points. Pacers shooting just 38.7% from the field. Thunder ahead 93-74, which isn’t entirely out of reach by Indy’s standards. Good response from OKC, though.

Active first three minutes of this quarter for OKC. Five O boards, just drew two Pascal Siakam fouls in a matter of seconds, and has forced two Indy turnovers.

Mark Daigneault on Aaron Wiggins: “I give him credit because he was a huge part of our success during the season, and in the playoffs his role has been variant. … he was massive tonight.”

Alex Caruso: “I keep seeing people for the first time this postseason, people that I know who say congratulations. I truly don’t want them to tell me congratulations until the series is over. I don't feel like we've accomplished anything until we win four games. .. Getting here
