This is a problem that is not going away. It’s getting worse. Pay & workload have always been an issue & this was a problem before the pandemic. The question we should be examining is what is causing this now? I suspect how teachers are treated by parents & students is at the ❤️

These are excellent bits of advice. I would add two more: if you can handle a problem and keep it off the principal’s desk, do it and keep them informed later. And, 2, it’s not about you. That upset parent or student- is more likely upset due to a behavior and not your response.

I have heard Todd Whitaker speak many times and it’s always informative and entertaining. Today did not disappoint. Thanks for you wisdom and guidance.
