Went to see this earlier this week and it was well worth the train trip from London. Recommend also seeing the Sue Hubbard/ Eileen Cooper exhibition Radium Dreams Murray Edwards College, ten minutes walk from Kettle's Yard. Both institutions are very welcoming.

1/2 “We took their babies and gifted them, sold them, trafficked them and starved them” - words spoken by Irish PM Taoiseach #EndaKenny in Parliament Houses of the Oireachtas - Tithe an Oireachtais on 7 March 2017 - clip ⬇️ m.youtube.com/watch?v=1lRSAh… it reminded me of quote in #TheWomanInTheWall last night

Really enjoyed this last night. The colour palette of the costumes/props and sets was just perfect. Having visited both the costume and props workshop of the English National Opera as part of London Craft Week I know how much work went into this. Congratulations all.

Last night was a whirlwind of music, movement and Mingus. Nu Civilisation Orchestra Tomorrow's Warriors and Clod Ensemble bring 'The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady' back to Shoreditch Town Hall this evening for another sold out show. Doors 19.00 - part of EFG London Jazz Festival

This was beautiful. You get completely drawn in to the lives/deaths of the people depicted, surrounded as they are by loved ones and the furniture of dying - mobility aids, medical apparatus etc. I would love to see a behind the scenes as to how Mat Collishaw made the images.

Kate Molleson talks to Caroline Shaw about her heritage and community music making. Looking forward to this later presented by kate molleson BBC Radio 3 BBC Sounds search.app/TUXcXMXdrkFgTM…

I first came across @caroshawmusic in 2015 when the Brooklyn Youth Chorus performed Black Mountain Songs Barbican Centre. Seen and heard so much of her music since then - roomful of teeth, Attacca Quartet Sō Percussion. But as kate molleson on BBC Radio 3 is showing there is so much more.

.Walter Presents UK We got half way through The Twelve but last night it had disappeared. Has it gone for good? If it has we are going to have to make up our own ending(s)!

Lovely episode of Soul Music on Radio 4 featuring the talented Karen J Guthrie telling the remarkable story of her family and the connection she feels with Robert Burns' Ae Fond Kiss. bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00…
