Back in the 1960's, Phoenix Sky Harbor redesigned the main entrance at 24th Street and Sky Harbor Boulevard, welcoming visitors with a fresh new sign, a cooling fountain, and a lush tree-lined landscape. A row of newly constructed airplane hangars ran parallel to the Boulevard.
