Next up: @DarioL_Econ Why did the financial sector grow so massively after the 1980s? In his JMP, @DarioL_Econ links it to the decline of the labor share and higher inequality. Higher K share generated more inequality, and a portfolio allocation problem for investors.

Really important piece on cross-state occupational licensing and how it limits the potential of teletherapy. I'm biased since it is by my wife, but would think it is great regardless! May be some good econ papers that could be written on this, PhD students should check it out!

This is not the UK that attracted me when younger, the country that gave me many opportunities. I didn't have a clue about what a PhD was, but thanks to the amazing people I met here in the UK as student and to my family support, I did it. I am really sorry, I am speechless.

Wow. (It's not clear that the boost to downstream outcomes like flyouts could hold in long-run equilibrium, or that added visibility really is the mechanism driving it. But still, pretty striking, QED!)

It's been too long since I've made a substantive tweet, so here goes. At the following Dropbox link you can access the slides and Stata files for my recent talk at the Stata UK meeting: dropbox.com/scl/fo/50imn36… It's taken me awhile to see connections among various estimators.
