Monday August 9th, at 4PM PST, Muscle Science Talks will host dr. Mark Ziemann from Deakin University for a workshop on ‘Getting the most out of your omics profiling data with the mitch Bioconductor package for multi-dimensional enrichment analysis’. See you there!

Delighted to share our new article on important role of #MACF1 in #skeletal #muscle via #microtubules! Thanks to collaborators inside and outside InstitutNeuroMyoGène and special one to Gache vincent: MNCA team at NeuroMyoGene Institute for his support! elifesciences.org/articles/70490

Proud of the work performed by Alireza Ghasemizadeh in our Team and all our collaborators! Now available in full version here:elifesciences.org/articles/70490.

Supercharging stem cells: Dr. Jeff Dilworth's research could bring new energy to exhausted stem cells and help them repair the body. Congratulations F Jeffrey Dilworth on your Chrétien Researcher of the Year Award! ohri.ca/newsroom/story…

Our last prepint is out! Neuromuscular electrical stimulation training promotes myonuclear accretion and increases satellite cell content without inducing muscle damage. First paper of Aliki Zavoriti's thesis. Ben Chazaud InstitutNeuroMyoGène #myotwitter biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Happy to see our last work out in Neurology Journal! Human muscle stem cells exhibit impaired proliferation, and myogenesis, in dermatomyositis due to an autocrine IFN-I signaling. n.neurology.org/content/98/21/… And thanks to Iago Pinal-Fernandez and SA Greenberg for the highlight!

Great work from Caroline, in collaboration with our mentor Michael A. Rudnicki . The primary cilia controls satellite cell quiescence through GLI3. Without GLI3 satellite cells enter the "Galert" state. nature.com/articles/s4146…

Why do we have two H3K27 demethylases - UTX and JMJD3? Muscle stem cells require both proteins to respond to muscle injury. Kiran Nakka showed that JMJD3 turns on genes that modulate the inflammatory response while UTX turns on genes to make new myofibers. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

What a journey ! 15/12/2022 will be a memorable date. A new metabolic pathway in regenerative inflammation: embopress.org/doi/full/10.15… Many thanks to Ben Chazaud Jan Tuckermann GiorgioC Desgeorges Thibaut for their resilience and their perseverance🏃♂️🇫🇷🇩🇪🏴 InstitutNeuroMyoGène @INSB_CNRS

I am very excited to share the results of my PhD research conducted in Ben Chazaud and F Jeffrey Dilworth teams ☺️
