For years Ohio offered up “Golden Week,” where new voters could both register to vote and cast a ballot on the same day. We’ve since gotten rid of it and our voter turnout numbers have tanked. It’s time to modernize our election system into one that works for all of us!

Today, I had the opportunity to attend Summit Land Bank's Kick-Off event to jumpstart the Former Atlantic Foundry Project. The goal with this project is to expand nearby businesses which will contribute to the area's revitalization. I'm excited to see the future of this project!
