My mother worked for 50 years, raised me, took in downtrodden relatives, and volunteered at her church. She was vibrant until she developed dementia. I watched her slip away. Medicaid provided a lifeline to the care she needed. The GOP guts it like a pig…to feed the rich.

Tonight was a gut punch. The GOP are unhinged and will sacrifice our most vulnerable to satisfy their billionaire overlords. Medicaid is the only way 1.9M Americans with dementia can afford memory care and live with dignity. This is a literal death sentence.
