.Cole Bunzel with (as usual) a very good and detailed read on where the new Syrian government under al-Sharaa is going.

This is what I would call a balanced analysis. Worth reading.

If you thought the most rational and well-informed commentary on Sharaa would come from Cole Bunzel, you were not wrong.
