At one point in the last several years, my heart was so broken & my mind so burdened, I went to stand up and could not feel my feet. I literally was too weary of soul to stand. I couldn’t possibly have stood on a platform that day and taught, let alone competed in the Olympics.

My heart hurts for Haiti and Afghanistan today. The people need protection and I will do what I can-PRAY ..I truly have no words for their pain and losses..

Bill's family joined our church. No one invited them to dinner. What did they do? They began inviting people over for meals. Today, most of our church has at least been invited into their home. They changed our church. Lord, help us be what we wish others would be for us.

I was in a room of high school seniors who were attentive, interested in learning, and took notes. These students will lead the world that I live in during my retirement years. Let’s encourage and cheer for teachers. What can I do to help? That is the question!

Spring breaks are needed to recharge and refresh teachers staff and students. So thankful someone realized that years ago. Praying our teachers enjoy their break as much as students and parents do!
