Taking a short break from the York project to start the 1st stage prep on an upcoming project. Initial task is the preparation of the exposed wooden beams while the old ceiling has been removed.

Now all the rooms on the York project are completed the last section is the massive hallway, staircase and landing. An interesting week of installing floor protection, preparation and new inspection lights

Is dustless sanding worth the investment? Yes. All dust collected in Festool extraction hoovers. Not in the air, lungs and environment

Using the SMIG A-2 filler. A really nice jointing and smoothing compound filler. These newly plastered walls needed so extra prep. Along with the Festool planex2 the filler provides a good product to smooth over minor surface imperfections and undulations
