Going back to school at an older age is hard, but not impossible. I just scored 102/100 on my Microbiology Lecture Exam! Exhausted? Yes. Proud? Extremely. God is leading the way to a brighter future.

God is a funny little guy sometimes. Sometimes you ask Him over and over - why?? Then out of nowhere, He sends you a big ol sign and shows you exactly why He put you through the struggle. I’m listening God and I am grateful. 🤍

I am proud to introduce the O.H.I.O Sportsmanship Act to make flag planting at midfield a felony in the state of Ohio. Behavior that incites violent brawls and puts our law enforcement officers in danger has no place on the football field.

Almost lost my husband this past week to a crazy, unexpected illness. By the grace of God, he is making a recovery. Is it crazy to have some type of PTSD or maybe just an intense fear of losing him now? I am not well right now. It’s killing me to not have him in sight 24/7. 😔

Honestly don’t think I’ve been this sleep deprived since I was in college taking 18 credit hours, working two jobs, and somehow managing a social life. I haven’t had more than 5 hours of sleep a night in over a week some nights getting just 2-3 hours of sleep 🥲

I’m ready for summer nights at Victoria Generals games! ⚾️💙

Been up for a 19.5 hours today and only slept 2.5 hours last night, on top of working a 16 hour day yesterday. Ya girl is exhausted, but I’m home in Ohio and I’m so glad to be with my family. ♥️

Officially done with the semester! 1 A and 3 B’s. I honestly am so thankful! This was an insanely hard semester. I am so glad it’s over with, but I’m thankful the Lord guided me through another successful semester.

Why do I get spooked so easy??? Literally folding laundry tonight and I hear a loud noise that sounds like it was outside. Literally so scared that I had to wake Adam up to go bring the dogs inside 😩

My first year back in the secondary setting was a challenging one, but my soul needed that. I’ve missed it so much. For now, Coach Rushing is signing out. H.A.G.S. 🤪☀️🌊
