I'm so obsessed with screenwriting, every day i make a little PDF of whatever my WIP is on my phone, just so I can carry it around with me. Kind of like a little locket lover. But it's my WIP.

Screenwriting lessons to take into 2023: Starting is the hardest part. Always have multiple irons in the fire. Rejection is inevitable, beginning again is a choice. Mourn your losses & move on. Celebrate the small victories. And remember: Writing itself is the reward.

I really, really love this article by Ernest Owens: rollingstone.com/culture/cultur… Two times this week men have tried to tell me their "cutting edge opinion" that cancel culture is bad, and this article hits the nail on the head of why it's actually a necessary tool.
