I'm so excited to join the Youth Policy Council on May 2 at the Central Library. Grateful to speak with emerging leaders about public trust, long-term city building, and how we can shape a stronger future—together. Hope to see you there! 🔗 lnkd.in/eVUDi3rw #yycccc

On Yom HaShoah, I join Calgarians in remembering the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, and all who suffered under Nazi persecution. We honour the survivors and recommit—as a city and as neighbours—to standing up against antisemitism and hate. #yyccc

I woke up heartbroken by the horrific attack at Vancouver’s Lapu Lapu Day Festival. Thank you to the first responders who attended on the scene. I’m thinking today of the families who lost loved ones, the injured, and the Filipino Canadian community across our country. Calgary

Congratulations to Prime Minister Mark Carney and the Liberal Party on forming Canada’s next government. Thank you to the many candidates, volunteers, and election workers whose efforts made this election possible and meaningful. This election result underscores the reality:

We need more of this. Set the politics aside after election day and find a way to work together. Digging into partisan sides and refusing to allow things to get done just hurts everyone.

Behind every strong community are volunteers—and Calgary’s are second to none! Great to visit Calgary Volunteer Fair and catch up with friends from BBBS, Wellspring, Rotary & more. So much good happening. Nearly 1,000 Calgarians came out to find their perfect volunteer match. #yyccc

Honoured to join the Youth Policy Council for a Fireside Chat—real talk on jobs, housing, safety, and growth. Grateful for the dialogue on meeting today’s needs without leaving the next generation behind. Kudos to the organizers; this is what our city needs more of! #yyccc

3 years ago today: 14,505 feet up, wind howling, sunrise breaking. We started at the border as strangers, unsure of our steps. Climbing in the darkness taught me something: you don’t need to see the whole path—you just need to take the next step and trust the people beside you.

It was great to be home in East Calgary for an intimate community conversation at the Dover hall. Calgarians want a city that’s safe, affordable, and full of opportunity for the next generation. Thank you to everyone who came out to share your thoughts and ideas! #yyccc
