Had a great time learning about the NWMOCanada's strategy to dispose of intermediate- and high-level nuclear waste!

Excited to share that our first Geomorphica manuscript was just accepted! This was a collaborative work with colleagues Geomorphology and Active tectonics Research Lab.

Interested in pursuing graduate studies in geology at UP Diliman? I am open to accepting students who want to do research on earthquakes and their sources, with InSAR, LiDAR, and seismotectonics. Geology, physics, engineering undergrads welcome. More here: sites.google.com/nigs.upd.edu.p…

📢 Please check out our newly published Geomorphica paper on the relative uplift rates along the Vigan-Aggao Fault (Philippines)! Geomorphology and Active tectonics Research Lab

I have just accepted an invitation to serve as Adjunct Professor at the National Institute of Geological Sciences UP Diliman! I'm really looking forward to mentoring students and sharing my expertise to contribute to the country's geologic hazard research!

I am happy to share that I will be joining McMaster University as Adjunct Professor! Looking forward to forging new collaborations for research on active tectonics and seismic hazards. Interested students, postdocs, and collaborators please reach out!

We're looking forward to being one of the first departments to move our lab to the new TerraCanada facility that is being built at the NRC Canada Montreal road campus.

Had a blast presenting my organization's research and networking with fellow nuclear regulators, implementers, technical and scientific support organization (TSO) professionals, and other researchers at the OECD NEA ⚛️ Nuclear Energy Agency's 2024 IGSC Safety Case Symposium in Budapest!

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission is seeking proposals from qualified researchers to investigate the effects of glacial stresses on the reactivation potential of faults near a proposed deep geological repository site in Canada. RFP link here: canadabuys.canada.ca/en/tender-oppo…
