I'm writing another book! After years of writing about plagues (pre-COVID) and abortion (pre-Dobbs) I'm happy to announce this one is about really fun parties and Mamie Fish, the woman who threw them.

“But in much of America, the land of the free, you can be forced to give birth.” Jennifer Wright’s book Madame Restell was a masterpiece. It’s so important for Americans to learn that abortion has ALWAYS existed in America, despite what forced birth advocates claim. 👏

My favorite things about Madame Restell, an abortionist in early 1800's New York, her husband had his own store front that sold the same abortion pills and was never bothered by law, maintaining her cash flow while she was in jail, and she disowned her daughter for marrying a cop

The paperback of #MadameRestell is out! You can buy it. Or, if Trump wins again, you can live it. I am posing looking sad about this to make it clear I think that would be BAD. Find it here or from your favorite local bookstore: a.co/d/aalEoMT
