'Indigenous people in many ways have been oppressed as objects of Western research but not the agents of outcomes. The theories that inform them & questions they generate must be carefully & critically considered. Put another way, it must be decolonised. Sasha Purcell #ACFID2022

Great climate finance session #ACFID2022. Vital that it's seen as repaying debt owed by countries that caused climate change to those most vulnerable, not channel to increase debt. And (as said by Kositatino Tikomaibolatagane) that donors trust and shift power to local orgs

From addressing labor shortages to improving the lives of displaced people, Talent Beyond Boundaries work is commendable. Such a pleasure to reconnect with Steph Cousins, we look forward to furthering our work together to create opportunities and harness the potential of migration.

We're delighted to have Amy Pope in Australia this week, raising the importance of having safe skilled migration pathways for refugees and displaced people. Thanks to EY for hosting this Business Roundtable with IOM and TBB and to private sector leaders who attended
