More than ever artists should have their own website. I've been saying it for 25 years. ALL the social media platforms will change over time- becoming divisively political, bought up by larger companies or fall out of favor for something new. None of these platforms have your

My recurrent dream- I forget that I have an aquarium and the water is about halfway gone, dirty, and there's still some live fishes who haven't had food for many months.

Built a sturdy stand for flat files, something very much needed in my studio. Currently have papers and stencils laying on the floor, in folders, on tables, taking up needed space and getting dusty. I plan to make more prints going forward and paper storage is needed!

I was at Lowe's today and couldn't get my Lowe's Business card to work, and the checker looks at me, points to his apron lazily and says "Cause this ain't Lowe's". He had an orange Home Depot apron on. I was at Home Depot. 😅

Very few people I speak with my age (Gen X) are excited about AI becoming ingrained in everything. My students, mostly Gen Z and some Millennials, are not embracing it. They see it as a threat to their job prospects, art, science, teaching... Experts say once Artificial General

I put out a question yesterday about AI but I think my followers are largely thinking about AI use in *art*. My question is NOT about using AI to make art, it is about the bigger picture- the upcoming NEXT stage of AI called AGI (Artificial General Intelligence). This is

Many of you think governments will ’step in’ with Universal Basic Income for all if AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) disrupts job markets and causes mass unemployment. So... the ones in power will just sacrifice their profits/control so we can spend leisure time with family

Rad! Snowfro Erick / Snowfro / 🦩 / LAO / #️⃣ / 🔴 at LACMA. I'm glad this highly influential museum has devoted so much space/resources into digital works. I know things got weird, but I still believe in NFTs and blockchain tech as a great way of collecting digital art. It was cool to see this.

Finished "Inventing Paradise: The Power Brokers Who Created the Dream of Los Angeles" last night. This book was an enjoyable read and gave insight into how Los Angeles was developed quickly into a populous city. The book dwells on land developers and businessmen such as Otis,

I have a quick painting exercise to introduce students to using gouache. They get a marble and a little bristol paper tile and try to capture the colors and reflections. This batch turned out amazingly well, with this being the first time some of them ever painted.

Will the crypto community continue supporting Trump? This is Eth monthly- November to April. He was extremely pro-crypto until he was elected and has done very little since. It's almost as if he was just trying to get votes and shill his Trump shitcoins...

New zine currently being printed. The quote today was about 30% higher than the quote I got a month ago, he said paper and toner tariffs caused the price increase. But is that kind of bullshit to already charge extra for paper and toner they no doubt already had in stock?
