Really hard to not have some level of snark in a re-review when there are p-values still in Table 1 and "rigorous statistical analysis" was used to absolve the paper of its limitations.

My goal was to get discussed and some good feedback. I think that saying I am pleased with this result is an understatement.

I mean, I'm not mad. "The editors have made a final decision without the benefit of your review and closing out the review invitation in our system."

I think that I enjoy asking students to complete course evaluations too much. Maybe I just view it as another great opportunity to talk about survey non-response bias? Or maybe I just enjoy the opportunity to use GIFs from Predator?

The peer-review process is rough. I've gotten desk rejected in a matter of hours, but now I have had a journal rescind a review request within 2 hours of sending it to me.

Incredibly proud of Lam for all his hard work on this project. Glad to see this result for him.

Finally got my 3 back to campus. Felt like ho〽️e.

Fighting with R and ArcGIS can wait. I'm celebrating this #NOA #NIA

Certainly. Today seemed like a good day to need to replace a leaking garbage disposal.

Two paper accepted this week and survived another trip with the 3 kids to WDW. I'll take the win.
