2 Slippery Rugs ⚠ 5,079 people were hurt slipping on the ground during the Christmas holidays (24 Dec – 5 Jan), and 71 tripped on a rug or mat. Don’t skid your way through the festive season, know where you’re putting your feet and avoid risky obstacles. 🍌👀

3 Bike Falls 🚲We had 1,190 accident claims during last year’s Christmas holidays (24 Dec – 5 Jan) from people losing their balance on push bikes. Enjoy the outdoors, but know your own limits to keep injuries from letting the air out of your summer holidays. 🛑🛴

4 Clashing Heads 🤕 Smash avocados, not heads this festive season 🥑💥 2,530 people were injured after collisions last December. Most injuries are preventable. We all get a bit excited during the silly season, so chill out and avo good Christmas.

5 Falling Trees 🎄In December last year and over the Christmas holidays (24 Dec – 5 Jan), 2,717 people were injured in tree-related accidents from falls and collisions. 132 of those were Christmas tree-related! Take care around our woodland friends this Christmas! 🌳🚑
